This movie was much better that I was expecting. It had some great one- liners and is the 1st best comedy of the year. Ice Cube and Kevin Hart were perfectly matched and played to each otherâ%uFFFD%uFFFDs comedy style very well. Hart plays Ben Barber, a jumpy security guard who plays video games and in love with Jamesâ%uFFFD%uFFFDs sister, Angela.

James hates Ben and wants nothing to do with him. When Ben is accepted at the police academy, James decides to take him on a â%uFFFD%uFFFDride alongâ%uFFFD%uFFFD to show him what the police world is really like. Throughout the day, James gives Ben silly assignments that no one else wants. It all leads up to a confrontation with Omar, the main villain that James is obsessed with catching. If you want a good comedy, I highly recommend RIDE ALONG!!!

But I saw it after a pretty long and lousy day and Iâ%uFFFD%uFFFDll tell you one thing: For 100 minutes, I didnâ%uFFFD%uFFFDt think about anything else at all. And sometimes that small relief is the best thing a movie can give.
